Turn Your Scraps into a Fun Card

Hello, my stamping friend!

If you’re anything like me, you’ve got a stash of leftover paper pieces that are too pretty to toss. Today’s project is the perfect way to turn those scraps into a cheerful, patchwork‑style card that feels fresh, fun, and wonderfully handmade.

This layout is especially great for highlighting different DSP patterns — those little strips and squares you’ve been saving suddenly become the star of the show. Every card looks unique, and it’s such a satisfying way to stretch your supplies.

I started by trimming coordinating pieces of patterned paper into rectangles and arranging them in a patchwork layout. The mix of florals and soft colors gives the design a cozy, handmade feel. Then I added two paper vases with flowers and a simple “Happy Birthday” banner — proof that scraps can make something truly special.

I also used the Garden Gathering Bundle for this project — I absolutely love the sweet vase and floral images. They add the perfect soft, pretty touch to the bold patchwork background.

Measurements:
