Berry Merry Wreath form Stamp A Stack

Happy Monday.
Last but not least card from Stamp A Stack. This was my favorite to create as it requires a lot of stamping. We were using Berry Merry stamp set  - and I will be first to admin that I had no interest in this set at all when I saw it in the catalog. I saw just big bold greetings and overlooked all small fun elements. And then I saw Deana's card online ! I rushed to get the set to create similar cards.
Here is simple version - super quick and easy.

And here is advanced version - with much fuller wreath and embellishments.

How Tos:

  • Cherry cobbler card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
  • Early espresso 5 1/4 x 4
  • Very Valina 5 1/8 x 3 7/8. Make a template from a vellum the same size and punch 2 1/2 circle in the middle. Use it to lightly trace circle on your very vanilla piece with pencil. Use this as your stamping guide for bigger leafs that are curled to the right (see simple version). Add more leafs using big and small right and left curled with darker and lighter ink
  • Stamp sentiment in the center of wreath or on scrap piece and make a banner.

Happy Stamping!

I would like to share another card that we made during Stamp A Stack earlier this month. In my opinion - this is most classy Christmas card, and reminds me what is this season all about.

I love 3 step stamping - it is so much fun with this set.

  • Whisper white for stamping poinsettias - 4 x 4, 1 3/4 x 3 for greetings
  • Cherry cobbler 4 1/4 x 4 1/4, 1 x 4 1/4

Team Stamp It Holiay Blog Hop - Flurry of Wishes

Welcome to Holiday Team Stamp It's Blog Hop!
You may have just arrived here from Elizabeth's blog. If you are just started, you can navigate through the hop by clicking the Previous and Next buttons on the bottom of this post.

It is hard to believe Christmas is around the corner. Every year it catches me by surprise how quickly time goes after kids start school. Temperature is still 80 here in Florida, it may be another reason I can not believe holidays are close.

For my projects I choose Flurry of Wishes bundle. Blues and sparkles are my colors for the holidays this year. I got the inspiration for my  project online - saw the card and new I wanted to design similar one and few other items to go with it.

Box was made using Gift Box punch board (little secret - it will be part of Monday special) and kraft 12 x 12 paper. The great thing about it - no glue require. Another huge advantage - take scored and decorated base with you when traveling, or make few ahead of time and store it flat. They do not  take any space. Than when ready - few seconds to transform it from flat piece to a box!

And of course I made a wine bottle tag. It will be handy during holiday season. You can use that design for a tag as well.

Hope you like the projects. If you need any supplies, you can find them in my store.

I even managed to make few swaps and of course gift for my friends!
Now back to Stamp A Stack. This is my favorite card as it reminds me of my childhood, snow and winter outdoor activity. Winter Wishes stamp set was my #1 stamp choice in Holiday Catalog.

How Tos:

  • Stamp Warm Wishes sentiment in real red first in the bottom left corner on crumb cake 4 x 5 1/4 piece. Than randomly stamp greenery image in whisper white ink  – concentrating mostly close to the edges.
  • Stamp 2 skies in black ink on scrap piece of soft suede, color them than cut.
  • Stamp sled image in black on whisper white 2 1/2 x 3 3/4, color with red marker. Adhere to 2 3/4 x 4 piece of real red
  • Fold 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 soft suede in half to create card base, adhere crumb cake piece, than 2 x 4 piece of DSP.
  • Add sled image to the card with dimensional, do the same with skies. Embellish with dazzling details.

Hope you like this card as much as I do. Happy Stamping!
