Cards from strips of DSP

 Hello, my stamping friend!

Do you save all your scraps of the DSP or regular cardstock? We all do:) 

Today a have 2 card layouts that show how to use your scraps! We made those cards last week during my Facebook live.

This is my original attempt:

Card 1 features a “ribbon” technique. I used 1/2 strips of Favored Flowers DSP. Love how it turned out:

For second card I glued different strips of dsp and card stock to basic white to create my own DSP

Card 1 - ribbon technique

• Card base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2”;
• Basic white 2 1/2 x 5 1/2; score at every 1” on long side
• Gold foil (2) 1/2 x 5 1/2

Card 2:

• Card base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2”;
• Basic white: (2) 4 x 5 1/4". Use one to glue the strips then trim to 3 7/8 x 5 1/8
• DSP and cardstock strips: 1/2" and 3/4" wide

I used 1/2" strips of Gold foil and another DSP pattern on this card:

Favored Flowers Cards

I have another quick and easy card design for you today.

Need a quick card for any occasion? Cut 3 7/8 square of Favored Flowers Dsp diagonally. Adhere to 4 x 5 1/4 basic white, stamp a sentiment and you are almost done!

Fancy Flowers DSP Cards

Brewed for You in Review

 Hello, my stamping friend!

Do you need cards for men in your life? We all do! And it is not always that easy to create masculine cards. I have few ideas.  "Brewed for You" bundle to the rescue. 

This is funky fold card I created for my son’s 21st Birthday. He loved it!

This is another funky fold card - just perfect for so many occasions.

Gift Bag from one sheet of DSP

 Hello, my stamping friend!

I have a fun and very useful project for you today! It is a gift bag from just one sheet of DSP and less than one sheet of card stock!

I designed this project for "Share a Milkshake" class and everybody loved it! I actually used the original one to pack birthday presents for our 9 year old friend!

You can add a holder to a front of the bag to hold a card as a decoration..

Measurements:

• DSP: (2) 6 x 11" scored at 1 and 9" om a long side
• Cardstock: (2) 3 x 8 1/2" scored at 1/2" on 3 sides (2 long scored lines and one short)
• Holder 1  1/2 x 5 1/2"

Share a Milkshake funky fold card

 Hello, my stamping friend.

I have very fun project to share with you. It is another funky fold card. I saw this fold recently online and recreated it during Wednesday Facebook Live (watch here):

It has such a dimension with a pop-up frame. But folds flat for mailing.

Measurements:

• Card Base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"; 4 1 /4 x 5 1/2";
• DSP: 4 x 5 1/4"; 1 7/8 x 6":
• Basic White (inside the frame): 2 3/4 x 3 1/2";
  

How To:

• Using stitched rectangle dies 2 and 6 - die cut a card stock. Using dies 3 and 5 die cut the DSP. 
• Adhere large piece of the DSP to card front and another one to cut card stock.
• For tubes - score DSP every 3/8" on 1 7/8 side. Cut to two 1 7/8 x 3" pieces. Adhere to create a tube. Adhere tubes inside the opening
  
• Stamp a sentiment on basic white, adhere between tubes.
• Adhere a frame to tubes
