Case Monday - Amazing You

Hello my stamping friend.
Today I am sharing set of cards that was designed based on a "cased" layout and recreated in multiple colors.
I just love the font of this stamp set and how it coordinates with framelits. Each card uses Lemon Lime twist for green accent and have exact the same layout and stamping portion.
Powder Pink and Soft Sky:
Wisteria Wonder and Daffodil Delight:
Calypso Coral and Peekaboo Peach
Sweet Sugarplum - 2 different sentiments:
Stamp flower 2 times and cut it - first flower cut the entire one and second - just the middle 4 petals make sure you cutting them to the center (so each petal is only attached to the center).
Because I mailed the cards and did not want them to be bulky - i used center of die-cut letter O for the center of the flower.

Amazing You

Hello, my stamping friend.
This card is a case from my own card. This time I decided to use Amazing you set and framelits.

  • Sweet sugarplum: 5 ½” x 8 ½” , scrap for 4 flowers
  • Lemon Lime Twist: Scrap do punch 2 leaves
  • Whisper White: 4” x 5 ¼”, scrap for oval
  • Gold Foil: scrap to die cut “You”
  1. Take second largest stitched oval and trace inside of it in the center of 4 x 5 1/4” Whisper White card stock. This will give you an idea where to stamp leaves. Now using scrap of whisper white and same oval – die cut for the sentiment.
  2. Using the traced oval as a guide, stamp leave part of the flower stamp around with Lemon Lime Twist Ink. Try to ink only the leaves before stamping. Adhere the stamped piece to sweet sugarplum card base.
  3. Using sweet sugarplum ink stamp word “amazing” in the center of die cut stitched oval. Add it with dimensionals to the card front over the traced oval.
  4. Punch 2 leaves from Lemon lime twist and adhere them to the top left and bottom right sides of the oval.
  5. Stamp 4 flowers on sweet sugarplum scrap piece with sweet sugarplum ink. Using snips cut 2 full flowers and 2 other flowers – just the middle part (4 petals) making a cut to the center of the flower. This will allow you to shape them easily with bone folder. Attach small flower to big flower with dimensionals. Adhere gem in a center. Add flowers over leaves
  6. Die cut word “You” from gold foil. Adhere to the bottom right of the card front.

Team Stamp It Blog Hope - Valentine

Hello my stamping friend and thank you for stopping by.
After some break I finally am participating in Team Stamp It blog Hop again. I was exited about the Valentine theme and knew from the beginning what stamp set I want to use - "More than Chocolate". See, I am a big dark chocolate lover and quite picky one (it needs to be very good, otherwise it will not pass the test, haha). Everybody in my family know about this, of course. And for Valentine - my husband always finds me special chocolate and chocolate covered strawberries. This is why that set spoke to me. The card will be perfect not only for my husband but for my kids and friends that know me well.
I went for soft look with Brushing Bride and Calypso Coral. I used the Bundle of Love DSP.
I used gold side of DSP on that card and blushing bride on Calypso coral one:
I stamped the heart in Blushing Bride and then outlines of candies in early espresso. The inside of candies are in early espresso too. I used blends in Pink Pirouette and Crumb Cake to color each of them. They looked OK, but were missing something. So I got fine tip glue and covered each of the candy to create slight 3D effect and give them some shine. Hope you can see it on the picture.
Actual card makes me want chocolate:)
Now I think I will go make another one with real red paper and emboss saying in white.
If you like the card or chocolate - leave me a comment for a chance to win the prize.
Continue to hop alone for more Valentine ideas:
