Hello, my stamping friend!
Here is the card we made in January during Crafting Happy Hour at local wine shop. It is perfect for Valentine's Day!
You can easily switch a sentiment to make it all occasion card!
Measurements:
- Thick Basic White CS: 5 ½ x 8 ½";
- Basic White CS: piece for stamping and punching
- Basic Black CS: (2) ½ x 5 ¼”;
- Real Red CS: scrap;
- Petal Pink CS: scrap for stamping and punching;
- DSP: 3 x 5 ¼” (gold pattern); (2) ¾ x 5 ¼” (real red pattern);
Instructions:
- Adhere both real red pattern DSP pieces to the right and left sides of the basic white piece leaving equal borders on all sides.
- Adhere basic black strips to the left and right sides of the gold pattern DSP. Adhere to the card front to cover the gap.
- Stamp a bee’s body 2 times in daffodil delight ink on basic white; stamp stripes over the body in memento black. Punch out. Using memento ink – stamp bees’ faces.
- Stamp large heart image 4 times in petal pink ink on petal pink cardstock. Punch out. Adhere to the bees.
- Stamp bees’ antennas in memento black ink. Punch out. Adhere to the bees.
- Punch out 2 small hearts from real red cardstock. Adhere to the bees.
- Add both bees with dimensionals to the card.
- Using a border stamp (Heartfelt hexagon) – stamp in daffodil delight ink on basic white CS.
- Stamp a sentiment inside in real red ink; stamp small hearts under the sentiment.
- Punch out the sentiment. Add to the card with dimensionals.
- Tie a bow and add to the sentiment with a glue dot.
