Color and Contour in Review - Day 1

Hello, my stamping friends.

I had a chance to play a lot with new Color and Contour bundle. The dies are absolutely amazing and can be used on many projects. The stamp set has 2 flower images with 2 step stamping. Here is 2 cards using one of the flowers:

This card uses Fresh Freesia card-stock and ink for inside of the flower. I stamped outside with Highlander Heather.

Second card has the same layout. I just used Polished Pink card-stock and ink. Flowers' outlines were stamped in Magenta Madness.

This flower is a little tricky to line up.

For the easiest result - stamp an outline first. There is only one double petal in the image. Find it. Locate double petal in the second stamp (should be relatively easy). This is how you will be lining those 2 stamps up. They actually line up perfectly.

For the die - locate 2 deep lines that go inside. One of them will have flat area on top. That area will be lining up with our double petal we located earlier. This is easy!

If you do not have this bundle - I strongly recommend. Get it in my store.

Thank you thank you for posting this, I have been going crazy trying to figure out how to line up the die and stamp set.

I also wanted to say, I leave a cut out flower inside my die to help me remember where to place die on stamped flower.
