Beautiful You - Happy Birthday

Hello, my stamping friend and Happy Friday.
Did you have a chance to see new Occasions catalog?  If you did, you probably have your favorite stamp (or few). I always have very strong favorite stamp in the catalog by just looking at it first time. When I first saw Occasions catalog during OnStage event in November - my heart almost stopped when I saw "Beautiful You" stamp set! And imagine how I fell when prize patrol was for that stamp and I did not win it! But... Lady at my table won this set and she did not like it at all (I can not even imagine that), and she agreed to trade it later with me for another stamp I won that day.

This is the card I created:

The idea came form my friend Stephanie, She designed a card with similar layout and this stamp. I decided to change the colors a little - and use Sweet Sugarplum.

Measurements: 

• Basic Grey – 4 ¼” x 11”, 4 ¼” x 2 ¾ “ 
• Whisper White – 2 ½ x 4” 
• Sweet Sugarplum: 4 x 5 ¼ “ 
• DSP: ½ ” x 2 ½ “, scrap for dress and hat 

Instructions:

1. Create your card base by scoring a 4 ¼ x 11” piece of cardstock at 5 ½ ”
2. Stamp flower in Sweet sugarplum ink randomly on 4 x 5 ¼” piece of sweet sugarplum cardstock. Adhere stamped piece to card front.
3. Stamp lady image with Basic grey on whisper white piece and on scrap of DSP. Cut the dress and hat from the dsp piece, adhere to the white cardstock. Stamp sentiment under the lady image in sweet sugarplum. Adhere ½” of dsp to the bottom of white piece. Adhere white piece to the basic grey. Wrap ribbon around.
4. Attach stamped piece to the card from with dimensionals.
5. Add small pearls to accent the dress and hat. You can also add Wink of Stella.

You Light Up my Life

Hello, my stamping friend.
Happy Sunday to you. I am taking a little break from Holiday creations and decided to use hostess set Pun Intended. We all need cards for men in our live, teenagers, just because cards to show somebody we appreciate them. I think this card can be just that card:

Measurements:

• Dapper Denim: 4 ¼ x 11, scored at 5 ½ 
• Whisper White: 4 X 2 ¾ 
• So Saffron: 4 ¼ x 3, scrap for punching 
• DSP: 2 x 5 ½ 

How TOs:

1. Randomly stamp front of the card with a heart in Dapper Denim ink. Adhere piece of DSP in the center. 
2. Stamp light bulb 3 times on whisper white piece with dapper denim ink positioning the center light bulb lower than two side ones. 
3. Stamp sentiment on the bottom of whisper white in real red. 
4. Stamp portion of the light bulb 3 times on scarp of so saffron in dapper denim ink. Punch with ¾ circle punch. 
5. Adhere 3 circles over light bulbs stamped in whisper white making sure that image in so saffron aligns with the image on whisper white. 
6. Adhere whisper white piece to so saffron, and then with dimenstionals to the card front. 
7. Highlight portion of stamped image with gold Wink of Stella (heart, word love, top of light bulb) 

You can change Dapper Denim color for another to create different look. I think Sweet Sugarplam will look beautiful.

Dapper Denim Blooms

Hello, stamping friend!
I am back with another Dapper Denim Bloom card. I am in love with this new color!

Measurements: 
Soft Sky CS: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”
Dapper Denim CS: 3 5/8” x 3 7/8”
Whisper White CS: 3 1/2” x 3 3/4”, scrap for sentiment
How Tos:

• Create your card base by scoring a soft sky cs piece at 4 ¼” 
• Randomly stamp big rose image on whisper white piece in dapper denim ink. Highlight flower image with Wink of Stella. Adhere to Dapper Denim piece. 
• Wrap Flirty Flamingo ribbon around dapper denim piece and tie a knot. Attach to the card front with dimensionals. 
• Stamp sentiment in in dapper denim ink on a scrap piece of whisper white. Randomly stamp small flower in Flirty Flamingo. Punch with 1 3/8” circle punch. Adhere stamped circle to the small doily. Add doily with dimensionals over the ribbon on left side.

Try in different color. What do you think will be a good one?

Birthday Blooms meets Dapper Denim

Hello, my stamping friend.
Today I want to share a card i created for my Happy Hour event this week. Once a month I hold a class at local wine shop and we create 3-4 cards and drink wine. This month I wanted to highlight the stamp that was my favorite for several months. But with new catalog and busy schedule I felt like i cheated on it for some time, haha. That big rose is just absolutely staining.
This card is very simple one, but can modified to add more color and depth.

 How Tos:

• Whisper White: 4 by 5 1/4 and 4 by 2 3/4. Stamp a sentiment in a center of smaller Whisper White piece. 
• Put a small amount of snail on a back of the stamped piece (you will need to be able to separate it later). Center smaller piece on a bigger white piece. Stamp rose image in 2 corners. You will be stamping 2 pieces at the same time.
• Separate 2 pieces. Remember where is a top of bigger piece (important). Adhere bigger piece into 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Daffodil delight scored in half. Adhere smaller piece into 4 1/4 x 3  Daffodil delight piece.
• Color leaves with Pear Pizzas marker and center of flower with Daffodil Delight marker. Color flower with Wink of Stella.
• If desired - add strip of Designer Paper to the center of card front and add smaller stamped piece with dimensionals.

 Clean, simple and stunning - don't you think?

Friendship Shaker Card

Happy Thursday, my stamping friend.
Can you believe there is just 6 days left till new annual catalog goes live! My list is all done and I am patiently waiting till June 1st. Luckily, I was able to get some new goodies including new colors!
