Easter Blog Hop

Welcome to February team Stamp It Blog Hop. The theme for this hop is Easter. The moment I think about Easter - I have several images that come to my mind: Easter basket with eggs and 'paska' bread that we bless early Easter morning, sunny day and spring flowers. My family is Greek Orthodox, and Easter is very special holiday for us with many traditions (and Easter Bunny is not one of them, haha). And my projects reflect the images for Easter: basket and flowers.

Here close look on the card with funky fold:

And basket full of chocolate:
Check back next week to see instructions for the basket. Can you believe you can make 2 of them from one sheet of paper and just few inches of sticky strip?
I used Friends and Flowers stamp set to create a flower, using Delightful Dijon ink and watercolor on top with So Saffron to give flower some color:

Hope you like my projects. Please let me know what you think and what is your image of the Easter.

Team Stamp It giveaway!

All the products I used are available in my store. Thank You for your support. Every order receives special 'Thank You' from me.

Field Flower Gift Set

We all need quick and easy all occasion cards. Did you know that Stampin Up note cards and envelopes can be very handy to create those quick cards. You will have 20 scored card bases and envelopes. And how about cute purse to store those cards or just give them as a gift?

Would you like to know how to create this purse?
My bag in a box - is a super simple project. I actually got the idea from Crafty Hallett back in April and making those bags since than. I made few adjustments to mine - it is actually slightly bigger as I use 4 x 12 piece of designer paper vs 3.5 x 12.
How Tos:
  • Watch Crafty Hallett video - she explains everything great!
  • DSP 4 x 12, matching card stock - 1/2 x 12 (2 strips) for top and bottom of the bag. Handles: 3/8 x 6 (2 ea), 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 scored at 1/2 on all sides for base
Give it a try. Use your Designer paper! And this DSP and stamp set are actually FREE with purchase during sale-a-bration.
Visit my store if you need anything.

Birthday Card for Baby Girl

Happy Friday, my stamping friends!
Today I want to share a card I made for one very special baby girl. I wanted it to be as special and personal as possible. And number of years bundle to the rescue. In my family - we save all cards we receive for special occasion as long as it has a personal touch (handmade, or handwritten note inside). So much memory inside. Another day I found a card I received for my Birthday many many years ago from my grandma, with well wishes and kind thoughts about me. She is no longer with us, but she always will be talking to me through that handwritten card.
But today it is card for our 2 year old friend:

Take a moment - send card and hand write  a little note.
