Birthday Blooms meets Dapper Denim

Hello, my stamping friend.
Today I want to share a card i created for my Happy Hour event this week. Once a month I hold a class at local wine shop and we create 3-4 cards and drink wine. This month I wanted to highlight the stamp that was my favorite for several months. But with new catalog and busy schedule I felt like i cheated on it for some time, haha. That big rose is just absolutely staining.
This card is very simple one, but can modified to add more color and depth.
 How Tos:
  • Whisper White: 4 by 5 1/4 and 4 by 2 3/4. Stamp a sentiment in a center of smaller Whisper White piece.
  • Put a small amount of snail on a back of the stamped piece (you will need to be able to separate it later). Center smaller piece on a bigger white piece. Stamp rose image in 2 corners. You will be stamping 2 pieces at the same time.
  • Separate 2 pieces. Remember where is a top of bigger piece (important). Adhere bigger piece into 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Daffodil delight scored in half. Adhere smaller piece into 4 1/4 x 3  Daffodil delight piece.
  • Color leaves with Pear Pizzas marker and center of flower with Daffodil Delight marker. Color flower with Wink of Stella.
  • If desired - add strip of Designer Paper to the center of card front and add smaller stamped piece with dimensionals.
Clean, simple and stunning - don't you think?
Give it a try - use different colors, try to step it up by coloring flower. Stay tuned for my stepped up version. If you need anything - visit my store. I appreciate your support.

Sprinkles of Life Cards

Hello, stamping friend!
Today I want to share with you cards I made last month during my Happy Hour Class.
Sprinkles of Life stamp set and matching punch were carried over from last year catalog. The set was Ronald McDonald's set of the year and Stampin Up donated $3 to this charity with every set purchased. That set was my #1 pick last year and I used it a lot.
 This card is my favorite:

Everybody liked coloring flowers on this card:

Quick and easy Birthday Card:

Hope you like them. Even so designer paper is retired - it can be easily substituted.

Rose Wonder in Different Colors

Happy Tuesday.
I would like to share with you quick and simple, but very elegant cards. The original card was designed for watercolor class and uses Blushing Bride and Rose Red reinkers. The set I used is Rose Wonder. It was interesting that almost everybody in the class could not recall seeing this little flower as part of this set. We all remember big rose, but not this little darling flower.

I absolutely loved to water color the leaves and flowers (and I am OK with cutting them too). And of course I was tempted to see this design in other colors. Check them out:
I learned that reinkers are essential for the coloring. You can squeeze the pad and use it for coloring, but effect is not close to what you can achieve with reinker. And this time my favorite color was Watermelon Wonder (well Daffodil Delight almost won too):
