Hello Irresistible Funky Fold Card Part 2

 Hello, my stamping friend!

Last week during FB live we created very fun fold using half sheet of DSP. I recreated this fold using Hello, Irresistible designer paper. The paper is just 6 by 6, and I altered this fold to use 2 sheets of the DSP

The sentiments are stamped, the flowers and leaves are die cut from the DSP.

When open:

You can see both sides of this beautiful paper!

Measurements:

• DSP: (2) 4 1/2 x 5 1/2"; score at 1/2" on 4 1/2" side; die cut flower and leaves
  
• Pretty Peacock: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2"; 3 x 3"
• Basic white: 3 3/5 x 5 1/2" (for inside); largest stitched square. 
• Gold Foil: scraps for die cutting;

Here is another version of this card. I used second largest stitched square for the center and layered in on the pretty peacock CS and gold foil.

Friendly Gnomes funky Fold Cards

 Hello, my stamping friend!

Today I have a very fun project for you! It is a funky fold card and it uses gnomes!!!! Who does not like gnomes and funky folds?

This is one of the cards we made during Funky Wednesday FB live.I came across this new fold few days ago and could not wait to recreate it. The video I saw was by Michelle Grech. 

It is very simple to make and uses a half sheet of 12 by 12 Dsp. You can see both sides of the DSP too!

When open:

Measurements:

• Shaded Spruce: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2"; largest scalloped circle
  
• DSP: 5 1/4 x 12"; scored at 2, 4, 8 and 10"
• Basic white: largest stitched circle; 3 3/4 x 5"

By the Bay Creative Escape Recap

 Hello, my stamping friend!

The in-person Creative Escape was a lot of fun! This was a full day ( 11 am - 5pm) of creativity, pampering and good times! It included a goodie bag full of new supplies, 3 pillow gifts, 10 gorgeous projects, lunch and refreshments. And the most important fun time with amazing friends!

I was looking for a bag and pillow gifts that will be very useful. Instead of a bag I packaged all goodies in a Night of Navy baskets decorated with a cute tag.

Those baskets will be perfect for organization in the craft room!

The pillow gift #1 was a cute little holder with a snow puff paint. This will be perfect to create waves!

The pillow gift #2 was a shell like ceramic plate with candy and a star fish decoration clip. Everybody absolutely loved it!

The pillow gift #3 was a decorated gold pizza box with a key chain:

I ordered key chainparts and shell charms on Amazon and my husband helped me to assemble them. I made a custom insert to hold the key chain in place.

Here is a frame we made as a part of the Creative Escape.

It was defiantly a labor of love and took few weeks to prep for. Now I can not wait to do it again - tentatively in June!

I am offering a smaller version of the Creative escape as a Class to go.

Funky fold from 6 by 6 DSP

 Hello, my stamping friend. 

I have a fun card for you today featuring By the Bay suite of products. The DSP is a star here. It is so easy to create with.

The problem with this DSP is that both sides are so pretty. It is hard to choose what side to use! Well, I have a solution  - very fun fold that allow you to see both sides. 

Here is how the card looks when open:

We made this fold during FB live about a week ago (but using other supplies), Here is the video:

 Measurements:

• Cardstock: (2) 4 1/4 x 5 1/2", score one piece at 2 3/4" on long side
• DSP: 5 1/2 x 5 3/4"; score at 1 3/4" on longer side;
• Basic White: (2)  2 1/2 x 4";

Hello, Irreristible

 Hello, my stamping friend!

Yesterday Stampin Up! lunched brand new Online Exclusive products.  Hello, Irresistible suite of products is one of them. I love the stamp set and dies! The paper is amazing too and so easy to create with.

Here is the card I created while playing with this suite.

Measurements: 

• Petal Pink CS: 5 ½ x 8 ½”; 
•  Basic White CS: 4 x 5 ¼”; 
• DSP: 3 7/8 x 3 7/8”; 1 ¼ x 3 7/8”; piece with flowers and leaves 

How To:

1. Randomly stamp a splatter image around the edges of the card front in petal pink ink. 
2. Die cut the center of the DSP square with circle die.
3. Adhere die cut DSP to the top of the basic white leaving equal borders on all 3 sides. Adhere other DSP strip below. 
4. Stamp a sentiment in evening evergreen ink inside the circle. 
5. Wrap about 5 ½” of the ribbon below the circle (where both DSP meet) securing it on the back. Add entire piece with dimensionals to the card front. 
6. Die cut a flower and set of leaves from the DSP. Add them with dimensionals to the bottom of the circle.
7. Tie a bow and add to the flower with a glue dot. 
8. Add several rhinestones.
