Daisy Lane - New In Colors

Hello, my stamping friend.
My favorite part of new catalog is to see and use new colors. Today I would like to feature brand new color - Rococo Rose.

Measurements: 

• Rococo Rose CS: 4 ¼ x 11”; 
• Grey Granite CS: 4 x 5 ¼”; 
• Whisper White: 3 7/8 x 5 1/8”; scrap for 4 daisies, 2 leaves and label 
• Ribbon: 5” 

Instructions:

1. Score card base at 5 ½. Stamp birch background in grey granite on whisper white piece. Adhere to grey granite CS. Wrap ribbon and adhere everything to card base.
2. Stamp 4 daisies on rococo rose ink, punch with daisy punch. Lightly curl petals for 2 of the flower. Adhere curled to uncurled flowers together with dimensionals. Set aside. 
3. Stamp 2 leaves and granny apple green. Cut with snips. Adhere to the card front. 
4. Cut stitched label from whisper white cs. Stamp word “Friend” in rococo rose ink. Adhere label with dimensionals over the ribbon slightly to the right. 
5. Adhere 2 daisies with dimensionals (see picture). Color 3 small pearls with blend and add to the label.

Sailing Away

Hello, my stamping friend.
Sailing Away suite maybe my favorite one from this catalog. At least this is the one I used the most.
Here is a quick card:

Measurements:

• Night of Navy CS: 4 ¼ x 11”; 1 x 4”; 2 ¼ x 2 ¾ “ 
• Whisper White: 4 x 5 ¼ “, 2 x 2 ½ ”, ½ x 4”, scrap boat and compass 
• Balmy Blue CS: 1 x 4” • Sahara Sand CS: 1 x 4”, scrap 
• DSP: 2 ½ x 4” 

How To:

1. Score night of navy cs at 5 ½. Adhere DSP to the bottom of the whisper white piece. Adhere strip of night of navy CS in the middle, sahara sand – on the right and balmy blue on the left – slightly offsetting. Stamp greeting in night of navy, adhere to the card front. Adhere card front to the card base 
2. Adhere whisper white rectangular to the night of navy. Stamp bigger boat on a scrap of whisper white and dies cut. Add with dimensionals to the night of navy rectangular. Adhere to the card front. 
3. Stamp compass in night of navy on whisper white scrap. Punch with 1 ½ punch. Dies cut arrow from sahara sand scrap. Adhere to the compass. Add compass with dimensional to top right corner of the card.

Hello, Friend - Funky Fold

Hello, my stamping friend.
Some time ago I posted set of cards using Four Season stamp/die and paper. One of the cards had funky fold and I said I will post instructions. Well, I never did. But better late then never, LOL.
I love this fold as it is using just a half sheet of paper - no extra required.

This time I used tropical bundle and paper - both will be retiring soon. And my all time favorite stamp "Life is Grand" - it has such fun bold greetings.

Instructions are for Granny Apple Green version.


Measurements: 

• Granny Apple Green CS: 4 ¼ x 11” 
• Whisper White: 4 x 5 ¼ “, 2 ½ x 4”, scrap for die cutting 
• DSP: 2 ½ x 4” 

Instructions: 

1. Score granny apple cardstock at 5 ½. From one side of card base cut half – 2 ¾ x 4 ¼” piece. You will have a card and a piece for sentiment. Adhere DSP to the front of the card and whisper white to the inside of the card. 
2. Stamp a sentiment in the center of 2 ½ x 4 whisper white cs in blushing bride ink. Adhere stamped piece to the piece for granny apple green cs (from step 1). 
3. Adhere sentiment with dimensionals to the card front (put dimensionals only toward the left side).
4. Stamp big leaf in shaded spruce, small one in granny apple green and 2 flowers in blushing bride. Die cut with Big Shot. Add one flower with dimensional to the top right corner of sentiment and the rest of the diecuts to the bottom left (see picture).
5. Add 3 pearls to each flower. 

They are so easy!  I even decided to use Paper Pumpkin stamp to make one of them:

Piece of Cake

Hello, my stamping friend.
Piece of cake is such fun bundle. Honestly, I love bundles that include punch and often using them in my classes. This one is not an exception. I held a class using Piece of Cake bundle and everybody loved the cards. Later I created another simpler card for my Wine class (when wine is involved - we do not do complected, haha).

Measurements:

• Lemon Lime Twist CS: 4 ¼ x 11”; 2 ½ x 4”, scrap for punching 
• Whisper White: 4 x 5 ¼ “, 2 ¾ x 4”, scrap for cake 
• Sahara Sand CS: 3 x 4 ¼; scrap for stand 
• DSP: 2 x 4” 

Instructions:

1. Score lemon-lime twist cs at 5 ½. Emboss whisper white piece so about 1/3 of the whisper white gets not embossed. Stamp in Balmy Blue ink “Happy Birthday” and “count the good times…” sentiments on un-embossed part (bottom left). Adhere to the card front. Adhere DSP to strip of lemon lime cs and then to the card front above the greeting. 
2. Dies cut whisper white piece with the largest stitched oval and Sahara sand cs – with the scalloped oval that is slightly bigger than stitched one. Stamp candelas in balmy blue ink on the top of scalloped oval. Adhere 2 ovals. 
3. Stamp cake on the whisper white scrap and stand on sahara sand in memento ink. Punch using piece of cake punch. Color cake with balmy blue blend and lemon-lime twist marker. Adhere cake top below candles with dimensionals. Adhere cake stand below cake with snail. 
4. Adhere oval with dimensionals to the card. Punch sprig from lemon lime twist scrap and adhere under the cake with glue dots. 
5. Make a bow and adhere to the cake with glue dot. 
6. Add few sequences. 

You can use other colors of the DSP and make matching cake. Posibilities are endless. Save 10% on the Piece of Cake bundle now.
