Floral Essence in Review

Hello, my stamping friend.
I absolutely love any floral stamps especially if they have coordinating punch! Of source when I saw new catalog - Floral Essence bundle was on top of my list. Here is a quick card featuring this bundle:

I love that it can be mass produced and adopted to any color you like.

Measurements:

• Gorgeous Grape CS: 4 ¼ x 11”; 
• Purple Poise CS: 4 x 5 ¼”; 
• Whisper White CS: ¾ x 4”; scrap for punching 
• Old Olive CS: ¾ x 4”; • DSP: 3 x 4” 
• Ribbon: 5” and 8” 

Instructions:

1. Score card base at 5 ½. Stamp greeting on whisper white strip (3/4 x 4”) in gorgeous grape. 
2. Stamp 2 sets of flowers in gorgeous grape ink on a scrap of whisper white. Color inside of flowers with blends and punch. Adhere 2 flowers together. Curl with bone folder. Set aside. 
3. Stamp 2 leaves in old olive ink on a scrap of whisper white. Punch with leaf punch. 
4. Punch 3 labels from scrap of whisper white 5. Run purple posy through embossing folder. 
5. Adhere DSP toward the top of the purple posy, old olive CS below the DSP and greeting piece – below old olive. Wrap 5” ribbon around. Adhere the piece to the card front. 
6. Adhere 3 punched label to the dsd with snail. Adhere flower with dimensional to the middle of the punched label and leaves on both side of the flower.
7. Cut purple posy scalloped part from the 8” ribbon 

This is very fun bundle. If you do not have it - I strongly recommend.

Amazing You Birthday

Hello, my stamping friend.
Quick card today using another free SAB stamp set - "Amazing You".

Measurements: 

• Powder Pink: 4 1/4” x 11”, scrap for punching 
• Berry Burst: 4” x 5 ¼”, 1” x 4” 
• Whisper White: 3 ¾” x 5”, scrap for flowers and sentiment 

How Tos:

1. Randomly stamp flower in Tranquil Tide on 3 ¾ x 5” Whisper White card stock. In addition stamp 3 flowers on scrap piece of whisper white with same ink. 
2. Using sponge dauber and Powder Pink ink – sponge half of the flowers on stamped piece and 1 flower on scrap piece. Sponge remaining flowers with sponge daubers and Berry Burst ink.
3. Adhere stamped piece to berry burst card stock and then to powder pink card front. Adhere 1 x 4” piece of berry burst to card front (lower half). 
4. Stamp sentiment with Tranquil Tide ink on whisper white scrap. Use 1 ½” punch to punch it out. Adhere to powder pink circle punched with 1 ¾” punch. Add to card front with dimensionals 
5. Cut 3 flowers (from step 1) and add with dimensionals to the card. 
6. Attach bow to the bottom of sentiment with glue dot and embellish with tutti-frutti dots.

Suggestion: switch your color combo for flowers. You may start with any green and pick 2 contrast color to sponge the flowers. Give it a try:)

Perennial Birthday

Hello, my stamping friend!
Today i want to share with you Perennial Birthday card using brand new stamp set from Occasions catalog.

This set was one of the first sets I used. It meant to work with Perennial Birthday Kit. I absolutely love the color combo in the kit. The cards are easy to assemble and box is just stunning!

But the stamp set is gorgeous on its own. With many bold greetings and many floral images - it defiantly a keeper. As you can see - I used the same color combo for my card as it is in the kit.

 Few tips:

• stamp different floral images randomly on the left side of the 4 x 5 1/2 piece of whisper white
• use sponge dauber and dapper denim ink to add color for bigger flower and flirty flamingo - to smaller floral images
• color leaves with Lemon Lime Twist marker
• if desired - enhance the color of flirty flamingo flowers by using flirty flaming ink and blender pen
• sightly sponge left half of the stamped cardstock with soft sky ink,
• If desired - add wink of Stella to the flowers
• greeting banner is 4 x 1
